Instow’s natural beauty depends on all of us.

Instow Sands CIC has been established to strengthen the community of Instow by delivering practical projects that improve the local environment while creating opportunities for people to work together.

Our mission is:

• To provide opportunities for people to become involved in community-based projects where all age groups and abilities can participate and benefit.
• To benefit residents, visitors and businesses by addressing issues impacting the quality of life and economy of Instow
• To deliver practical projects to maintain the beach at a safe level through work-parties and the hire of heavy machinery and personnel,
• To assist with information dissemination and to create improved communication between the various stakeholders of this Site of Special Scientific Interest.
• To foster community spirit by bringing people of all ages together, both locally and beyond through organising working parties and social events,
  and to keep Instow and our beach a haven for residents young and old, for visitors and for dog-walkers, where children can play and build sandcastles or where we can quietly sit and watch the sun set over Appledore.
